Question Writer

QuestionWriter is a professional package that can enable teachers to construct and publish o­nline quizzes with ease. A very useful interface, with advanced features, including the ability to publish for the web or for SCORM 1.2.

QuestionWriter is available in three versions : Basic, Standard and Professional

The Standard version is free to download and use, but is limited to multiple choice questions o­nly. The Standard and Professional versions offer a whole range of quiz types to be constructed, including the facility to import and use images.

Hot Potatoes

Hot Potatoes is a powerful resource for producing a range of interactive activities.

You can view some of the QUIZZES produced using Hot Potatoes on our websites at

All you need to do is enter the data for your exercises (questions, answers, responses etc.), and press a button. The program will create the Web pages for you, if needed. They can then be uploaded them to o­ne of our websites.

Alternatively, you can print versions of your exercises. The choice is yours.

You can include your own images in the exercises.

Hot Potatoes is free for use by state educational institutions which are non-profit making, o­n the condition that the material produced using the program is freely available to anyone via the WWW.

MyStudiyo

At Mystudiyo you can create interactive quiz content for your website or blog quickly and easily. You add your own content to DIY quiz templates and create a customized quiz for your audience. After you’ve created your quiz, copy and paste a few lines of HTML into your website (or Blog) and you have finished!

You may upload images from your computer ( .gif, .jpg, and .png files) or copy and paste links to most images o­n the web.

You may add and format text in any media location. You can also add HTML and link to images as well.

There are many software packages available o­nline. Some of these require you to register o­nline to create your own quizzes. Others allow you to download and install the software o­n your own computer. Some are Freeware, others are Shareware, often requiring a payment.
